Gambling is what you make of it anywhere you go. I've won $20,000 on one hand of Mississippi Stud and lost $3000 before I ever got a push. I've walked out with $40,000 cash and left $10,000 lighter than I went in. Low denomination slots seem looser at Coushatta, but I'm usually in the high limit room playing $25 or $100 slots. The sea food on the buffet is generally better at Lauberge than Coushatta. I'm highest level card at Lauberge because we started going there last year and not so much to Coushatta. In Lake Charles you can see a different casino experience at L'auberge or Golden Nugget. There's not much around Coushatta so once you're there no reason to leave. If you have any problems PM me and I will contact my host and she can help you. ![]() ![]() I'm not sure what amount constitutes a comped room because we usually drop a few thousand easily so it's never been an issue. When we first started going I didn't know the routine and we actually paid for rooms. If you gamble any amount of money at all, see a casino host before you check out and try to get your room comped. ![]() I'm a frequent visitor at Coushatta, so here is some notable things:īig Sky Steakhouse is nice, I love the New York Strip.
